Ok....so here's some of the 'not up to par' pictures....pictures that would have been great had they not been blurry....and a picture of my Rock Of Ages shirt - yeah, you knew it was just a matter of time before I added some 'bling bling' to it...LOL! The picture does not do it justice though....my next project will be to bling bling my new Hysteria shirt....T-shirts are not safe around me...LOL!!!!

Yes....I am seeing the end is near...at least I think so. Probably by the time the upcoming holiday weekend is over (4th of July for those outside of the US), I'll have posted all of the best photos from the show. I'm getting down to the 'not so clear' shots now...but then again, I could find something else that I'd previously overlooked....so you never know! LOL

And is Haloscan having brain farts? It keeps taking my comment count down to 1 or two, when I actually have more than that.....*sigh*

And now it's time to showcase the lead throat of Def Leppard....sorry to all of the Phil and Sav lovers out there....today it's time to showcase MY favorite band member! Yeah, Sav is cute I guess; and yes, Phil had a good bod....but they just aren't my cup of tea. For me, it's ALL JOE, ALL THE TIME! He first attracted my eye in the video for "Bringin' On The Heartbreak". I was mesmerized by what I saw on the screen in that video. Those dark curls, and those eyes. YUM YUM!! Then I was REALLY gone when the "Foolin" video came out. White pants....need I say more??? LOL!! So for the Joe fans out there....here we go!

Just heard on the news last night that ZZ Top is coming to The Fresno Fair in October! We saw ZZ Top back in the mid 90's when they came to town, and it was a great show, so hopefully we'll be checking this one out, and two days later, banging our heads at the Motley Crue show.

When I left for lunch a little while ago....I was sitting in the turn lane to turn toward the bank...and I saw the most disgusting sight that had I already eaten, I would have lost it right there....some doorknob had a mural of the Oakland Raiders football team painted on the back of his silver SUV. And the obligatory oversized Raiders emblem on his back window.

We're just about to come to the end of my little photo journal of Def Leppard's Fresno show....there are a few more, but the rest are quite frankly not up to par...they aren't crystal clear, and I want to give everyone the best visual experience that I can. I was getting ready to leave for work this morning, and I had an empty toilet paper roll on the counter, so I threw it on the ground for Devil Dog to play with. He ran and got it, brought it back to me, and when I tried to take it from him, I received this look from him:

He was standing his ground, and was dead serious in his threat if I took it away from him. The funny thing was, when he'd relax a bit, the TP roll would stick straight out, and when I tried to get it again, he snapped it straight up into the air. I was rolling!

I guess you had to be there.............

Kathy asked me yesterday if I wanted to go see The Eagles with her and hubby in September. If figured, why not? The Eagles were in their heyday during my high school years, and "Hotel California" was THE song during my junior (or was it senior) year, so it would be fun to go see them. Then the next month, Kathy and I have the Crue concert. Now THAT should be interesting!

I took a 25 second movie clip with my camera during the end of PSSOM last Saturday, and I also found a 10 second clip during Hysteria that I took, and didn't even know that I had taken it!!!

I know I was fiddling with my camera at the time that I recorded the Hysteria clip, because I couldn't find the best mode to shoot my pictures with....and I guess I turned to Movie mode for 10 second and shot it....LOL. Anyway, my dear DEAR friend Logan kindly sized the files down after I emailed them to him, and he combined both clips into one for quicker loading....THANK YOU LOGAN!!!! You're AWESOME!!!

So take a look at this: Hysteria/PSSOM. And yes, that's me screaming at the end of PSSOM. LOL

I was 5 minutes late getting back to work, because I decided to stop at Sonic to get just a diet Vanilla Coke...lots of ice. I placed my order at 12:46 pm. What time did I receive it??? 1:00 pm, after watching the car next to me (who ordered AFTER I did) get their order. What time am I supposed to be clocking back in from lunch? 1 pm.

And what part of LOTS OF ICE do they not understand? When I finished drinking, I had a whole whopping 1/4 cup of ice. When I say LOTS OF ICE, fill the bastard to the top!

I'm still trying to put into words a description of last night's show....INCREDIBLE is one word! It was simply amazing! Kathy and I have NEVER been so close to the boys before, and it was an experience we'll never forget! They opened with "Action" and closed the show with "Pour Some Sugar On Me". No "Slang" though....DAMN IT! *pouting*

But here's a few of the over 300 pics I took last night....I don't know if I'll post more, because I'm still sorting through them, and weeding out the blurry ones....I got some great shots of Bryan Adams, too. One thing that made his set hilarious was one of the girls we were standing in line with ended up next to us up front....and this one girl was lusting over one of the guitar players for BA....she was cracking us up! She kept semi-flashing him, and he was smiling and laughing. It was really alot of fun!

Another great thing about the day was meeting some of my online buds who came in for the show....Lisa from MySpace....it was GREAT to meet you and your mom, Lisa! I hope you both had a great time backstage! Poor thing was about ready to melt, though! When Kathy's brother, Tim and his wife Shawnie arrived, they had an ice chest with some 'beverages' and a ton of ice inside.....so I brought some ice cubes over for Lisa to cool her off. But it was great to talk to her while we waited outside.

Another bud was Suzan (Miss Magic to those of you on the OF and the OUDLF). She and her friends Ginger and Barbie were great to hang out with! We've got to do it again soon!

I also met Vyolet from the OF and OUDLF. Didn't catch up with her until after the show, but it was great to meet her, and chat for a few minutes.

Kathy's sister, Lisa almost passed out though right before Lep came on...turns out she was getting claustrophobic and had to be pulled out and she watched the show from the grass on the side. I felt so bad for her!

But all in all.....it was a F*CKING GREAT show!!!! A night I'll never forget!

I'm wiped out, but just wanted to say....THAT WAS F*ING GREAT!!! We were right down in front! Standing out in the blazing sun paid off! I have AT LEAST 500 photos to download, but I'll do that tomorrow...and for you Sav lovers....I think you'll be VERY pleased! And Robin...I got that shot you wanted! I'll send it to ya sometime Sunday!

Well, here it is...today is the day!! The countdown clock is down to HOURS now! I'm pretty calm right now....but once Kathy comes by to pick me up, I'll start getting really jazzed! Holy cow....I can't believe the time is HERE!!! Tomorrow night! I'm HOPING and PRAYING that they mix up the set list and play SLANG!

I had a better day yesterday at the casino....I won back a portion of what I'd lost on Monday. I cashed out $50.00 from "I Dream Of Jeannie", and just before we left, I hit "Texas Tea" for $75.00. I wanted to play a little more, but Mom was ready to leave. But it was fun winning my money back!

Lots to do today...namely killing ANTS on the utility porch. Little bastards.

I'll check in again tomorrow morning before heading downtown! Kathy, still noon-ish?? Grab something to eat on the way down to the stadium? WOO-FRICKIN-HOO!!!! KC, if they play SLANG, I'll just hold the phone up, because I know you probably won't be awake at that time, so it will go into your voice mail hopefully!

Well folks, I ran out of old pictures to post...LOL! The rest of my pictures from the Hysteria show are too dark and grainy. But that's not curbing my enthusiasm one bit! 2 MORE DAYS!!!!

The first show of the tour took place last night in Portland, OR. Someone posted the setlist on the OF, and I don't see SLANG anywhere. *stomping feet* That has got to be my favorite Lep song, next to PSSOM. And I've never heard SLANG live yet (except for a couple of bootlegs, but I want to hear it with my own ears!).

Hopefully they'll mix up the setlist Saturday and play it.
