This morning was very sad....we lost one of our older dogs, Sunny this morning. I suspect she had a heat stroke late yesterday afternoon. She was convulsing and panting wildly yesterday afternoon at about 5:30....it's been so fricking hot here, and she must have gotten overheated...even with the fan blowing on high in the patio.

I wet her down with some water, hoping it would cool her down some. We brought her into the house onto the utility porch for the night. She seemed to come out of it and was more alert in the evening.

But this morning, she was laying on her side, convulsing and frothing at the mouth. I stayed with her, stroked her and told her it was ok to go. I think she understood me because she relaxed a bit. About a half hour later, she was gone. :-(

We had her for 9 good years...she would have been 11 this October. Rest in peace, Sunny girl....I love you!

Haven't had much to say this week. Is it just me, or does the whole blogging thing seem slow? I know that with summer upon us (it's 107 frickin' degrees outside as I type this...have I mentioned how much I HATE SUMMER!), I know blogging slows down, and now with Lep back out on the road, it will be even slower until reviews start coming in. All I know is that I can't WAIT until August 26th!

Doing ok with the MonaVie sales so far....sold two more bottles at work this week. I just know that I feel SO MUCH BETTER since starting this. And I'm not just hyping it up to makes sales....I wouldn't sell something I didn't believe in and use myself. My energy level has shot up like you wouldn't believe....and my feet don't hurt anymore! That in and of itself has sold me on it. My feet used to have me crying most nights because they ached so much. And it's not like I'm on my feet all day...I sit at a desk all day. But my feet felt like I'd worked 15 hours non-stop on them. Not anymore! That pain is gone!

Kathy just sent a couple of pictures of something exciting that happened to her husband, Dean during their family vacation in Hawaii last week. Dean met Paul Stanley of KISS! Paul was at a shop in Hawaii to promote some of his artwork, so Dean hung around to get a glimpse of Paul. Turns out that toward the end of the M&G session, the photographer's camera died....he asked Dean if his camera worked, and said he could meet Paul, and get his autograph in exchange for use of his camera.... here are two pictures from Dean's exciting night...Dean is the one standing on Paul's left in the peach shirt/jean shorts:

Pretty cool for a damn Rams fan! LOL!

To all out there who are fathers...HAPPY FATHERS DAY on Sunday! I won't have time to post this weekend, as tomorrow is Mom's 85th birthday, and Sunday is of course Fathers Day. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Business is coming along...I've sold 3 bottles of MonaVie at work in the past couple of days! I've got a bottle on the way to my dear friend Bruce, and 2 bottles on their way to Terri! I'm off today, because my brother will be in town for a few hours today, so it will be good to see him. We haven't seen him since January.

I've added a link to the MonaVie website in my sidebar, as well as my email link for anyone wanting more information about the product. I swear that I feel SO much better physically, and I didn't even have my usual pre-Aunt Flo cramp twinges this month...and I only had to take one 200 mg Motrin when she showed up Wednesday. Now THAT is something! So please feel free to ask me for more information about MonaVie. I'm swearing by it!

Yes....this is where Kathy and I were one year ago today...June 4th, 2005 we were at Grizzlies Stadium rocking out to Def Leppard! 2 more months and we'll see them again!

I've started feeling better physically recently. Rat Bastard introduced me to a nutritional drink that he's been drinking for about a month. It's called MonaVie. I was skeptical at first, because really...how many of these nutritional drinks have we come across? But let me tell you....IT WORKS!! I don't feel totally exhausted at the end of the day like I have been feeling. One of the girls at work asked me if I had lost any weight....I don't feel like I have, but people have been losing weight with this product, too. RB said he lost about 5 pounds.

It tastes GREAT, too...kind of like pomegranate juice. I just know that I feel alot better physically since starting this a couple of weeks ago. Just one ounce in the morning and at night is all.

RB wanted me to go with him to a meeting to introduce me to the business side of it, so after listening, I decided to sign up to become a distributor. I have alot to learn, but if anyone is interested in finding out more about the product, go to their website and let me know if you are interested in trying it. I just know that I feel more energetic...even with all of the stressors in my life!
