Quizno's got me again today....another belch. Get a grip, and laugh at the stupid stuff, people! Life is too short to walk around with a corncob wedged up your ass!

It's Lexy's birthday today! Rat Bitch and I wanted to extend a personal birthday greeting to ya! Don't gag when you see my ugly mug now...LOL...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEX!!!!:
And my idea I wanted to do for you, but Rat Bastard didn't cooperate by not being on the truck yesterday:

Look, kids....we have blossom buds!
And add lemon juice to the list of foods that you must wear protective gear when lunching with Kathy....some of her lemon juice she squeezed from her lemon into her iced tea splattered onto my chin today while having lunch with her....LMAO!!!

I found a new external hard drive Saturday....a 160GB Seagate. Works so far! Plus $80.00 in mail-in rebates, so it will end up being around $89.00.
So Sunday was spent copying what digital pictures I do have on my main hard drive over to CD's. THANK GOD I had the foresight to copy my Lep pictures from 6/4/05 onto disc! I've learned my lesson, kids....BACK UP, BACK UP, BACK UP!
Congrats to the Steelers and Seahawks fans....being a 49er fan, I'm gonna have to go with the conference champ...so GO SEAHAWKS!
Other than that....weekends SUCK.

Glad THIS Week Is Over!
This week has been hell on wheels for many reasons:
1) Practically no sleep Monday night due to one of our dogs not feeling well (Torch wasn't feeling good and kept barking every 20 minutes...but he's better now)
2) Combined with another incident that happened during that time at 1:30 in the freakin' morning
3) Having a couple of fires to tend to at work this week
4) My external hard drive taking a dump (THANK GOD I copied my Lep concert pics to disc!), but I've learned a hard lesson - BACK YOUR SHIT UP!!!!
So, looks like I'll be shopping for a new external hard drive tomorrow. I don't want to load my main hard drive down with all of my pictures.
How many more days until Bon Jovi??? LOL

Well Hell...*EDIT - VIDEO NOW UP!*
....I have another belch video to share, but my external hard drive started making a strange clicking sound Tuesday morning, and now when I try to install my camera software onto my main hard drive, I get a "CDR Engine - Catastrophic Failure" message. Just f-ing great.
Looks like it will be time to put that warranty into use. *sigh*
Here ya go, KC!! LOL!

Thanks For The Clouds, Grandma!
Boy, my late storm-loving grandmother was stirring up the clouds for me yesterday! We were under severe thunderstorm warnings for most of the afternoon, and of course - I went right out into it....rather than crop and upload all 84 pictures, I've uploaded them to my Fotki album:

Yes, I'm Easily Amused
If you are offended by belching, especially a woman belching...then laughing hysterically....move along. Otherwise...watch this. It's actually a rather weak effort on my part, but I happened to feel a belch coming on after finishing my Quiznos sub yesterday....and I needed the laugh!
And YES...Rat Bastard is driving this truck....I had just passed him down the road, so it IS him...too bad I couldn't get a shot of the Bastard though:

This N That
I had a good lunch with Kathy today...we had Italian. One must always wear some sort of protective gear when dining with Kathy. I've seen broccoli fly twice, crab meat fly, and today some of the marinara sauce on her spaghetti when flying...LOL!!! If you think I'm kidding, just ask her!
But as I walked back across the street to work, I almost was the target of pigeon shit as I was punching the button for the crosswalk. As I reached for the button, I heard a loud SPLAT. I looked up, and saw 3 pigeons perched on the light above my head. Thankfully their load landed a couple of inches from me. Damned pigeons.
Nothing else going on....I'm FINALLY caught up in my work. And yes, Mr. Snothead has relocated up to the front....so they have the pleasure of listening to his gibberish from now on!
I'll have to remember to take a picture of one of our trees by the driveway...if I'm not mistaken, I believe I see the beginnings of leaf buds! I don't know which is worse...to have a longer, colder winter, or the brutally hot LOOOOOOONG summers we have.
Happy Hump day tomorrow!

I'm Watching You
There's a cat that has been hanging around ever since the next-door neighbor and his new wife moved back into his house earlier this fall. I supsect it might belong to them....it's a pretty thing...it reminds me of a Tortoiseshell Persian we had years ago...only this is a short haired cat. I happened to look out of the window in my computer room and saw it creeping along the fence...so I grabbed my camera:
It jumped up onto the neighbor's roof in these next two...Peek-A-Boo!

....That the Asshole is moving up to the front quad in the office! Friday afternoon at around 3 pm, one of the IT guys came in carrying a PC, and told him he would switch him out. They left after a few minutes, and when I took something up to the front quad for outgoing mail, they were at one of the open desks, and The Asshole was thanking him. I had heard from one of the other gals up in that quad that she heard that he was going to become a BILLER, and that his work was going to be done in Region. Hell, he couldn't even do MY simple desk correctly during my absence...how in the hell is he going to become a biller??
But I was dancing with joy inside at the thought of him leaving my presence....no more snorting, no more listening to his personal phone calls in his native gibberish - and the jerk thought it would be funny on my last hour at work before Christmas to play radio wars with me. He found some radio station online in his native language awhile back - so when I left our office for a few minutes that Friday afternoon, he turned his station up LOUD. I came back, and he didn't turn it down. So, I turned up my rock music. He turned his station up...and up went mine. He could tell that I was getting pissed, because he printed something, and came over to the printer to retrieve it....I saw him out of the corner of my eye looking at me with his little beady eyes....and I heard him chuckle.
F**king prick. So I'm SO HAPPY to have him out of my hair now! The next project is to get someone else to be my backup during my vacations....he made so many mistakes this time I can't even begin to count them. Dumbass.

Oh Say Can You See....
.....The mountains! It was so freaking gorgeous out today...so I couldn't resist taking a few shots of the Sierras today on the way home - one of those days where you just want to stand and take it all in for awhile:
See where all of the trees at the bottom are? That's where my neighborhood is, and that's the view...great isn't it?
In this shot, where all of the snow is...that's the general vicinity of Kings Canyon National Park:
Damn, I wish they would take down those damned telephone poles...they ruin the view on the drive home:
I'm just about caught up from all of the mistakes The Asshole made last week. Can you say STRESSED???? Thankfully we have until Friday to close the month of December.

Vacation Almost Over
Damn, I'll be SO glad to get back to work on Tuesday....this staying home shit is for the birds!
We're still ok weatherwise...hopefully this bitch of a storm will find its way outta here this evening. It rained all night. Some minor flooding around our neighborhood, but nothing like Northern California has had:
A couple of pictures of raindrops hanging off of a limb:
This bird found a free carnival ride with the wind...LOL!

I Hate New Years Eve!
New Years Eve is for the birds, as far as I'm concerned. People were idiots around here last night...firecrackers, whistler fireworks, screaming, yelling, shooting guns, honking horns....whoopee.
We're fine where we are located...we didn't get the heavy downpours that Northern California received yesterday...we did have one heavy cloudburst yesterday morning, but the rest of the day was a mix of sun and scattered clouds. We are expecting more rain tonight, though.
Anyway...I'm running on about 3 hours sleep today, and I need to take my Christmas tree down. Later!
