Today was 'back to work' after a week off...THANK GOD! Saw this rather cool sunrise on the way:

Ratty seemed rather happy to be back with her buddies, Baby Shit and Pinky. But I was shocked when I took Ratty out of my purse....seems the little wench snuck out and got another piercing....since she doesn't have a belly button...it looks like she had her tail/butt pierced....I knew this was a wicked little one:

She also snuck into my jewelry box and borrowed a different pair of my earrings...God love her though....she's into bling bling just like her owner:

Yeah...shoot me...more driving videos. I had to make a Krispy Kreme run for mom this morning, so I took the camera along. I forgot to take Ratty along for a ride, damn it. And I don't know if I'm going to survive another 7 days of being home. Day 2 and I already want to blow my brains out.

Well hell....the 'Dogs gave the University of Spoiled Children all they could handle last night, but we couldn't contain their running back, Reggie Bush from racking up 513 all-purpose yards by himself, to help the Trojans win the game 50-42. What are 'all-purpose yards'? For those who don't follow football, it is the yardage that a player accumulates by rushing, receiving, and in Bush's case, returning kick-offs/punts.

Bush had:

294 yards rushing
68 yards receiving
151 yards on returns.

He was running around like a mad man. He is a strong candidate for the Heisman Trophy this year.

But we had them on the ropes in the first half....came out flat to start the second half. But we gave them a tough fight....one of the toughest they've had during USC's 33-game win streak. Good game, 'Dogs!

I had to go to the bank at lunchtime, and the male teller saw my 49er necklace hanging from my neck and he made some comment about how he should throw me out of the bank. I guessed correctly that he is a Raiders fan. After he completed my transaction, I re-counted the money he gave me, and told him that I needed to make sure he didn't shortchange me. He didn't know how to take it at first, then he said, "Awww, what...do you think all Raiders fans are crooks?" I just smiled and said Yep!

And I see work is almost complete on a Cheesecake Factory restaurant across the way from the bank. Mmmmmmm....cheesecake!

I had to get my car washed this morning...it was dirtied up from the small rain we had last week, and I just haven't had a chance to stop to get it washed....

I met Kathy for lunch up in the north part of town for Chinese....so I hopped on Freeway 41...this freeway will lead you up to Yosemite National Park...so if anyone has driven through Fresno to Yosemite, you've been on this stretch of road:

I hope everyone had a good weekend...ESPECIALLY those who were in LepVegas this weekend! Patty, I'm sorry I missed your first call! And I was so wiped out that I turned in early and missed your second call about the T-shirts. Next time, we'll be there in LepVegas for sure!!

I have this week to work, then I'm on vacation for 10 days. I was seriously thinking about cancelling most of it, because I just can't fathom hanging around home for that long, but I'll go ahead and keep it. I've already cancelled 2 vacations this year, so I need to use those hours in my vacation bank. Next week is the US Thanksgiving holiday. I need to start getting my Christmas decorations down, and put the trees up next week. I just love this time of year!

And yep....this guy is still as hot as he was in a 49er uniform - if you don't know who this is...you're not a football fan...what the hell is wrong with you?? LOL:

It was a hella-foggy drive into work, thanks to some unexpected rain last night. Good thing we didn't go to the Boise State/FSU game! But it looked like it was a sold out stadium....and it was a GREAT game!

Our electricity went out at about 8:30, and didn't come back until after midnight. What sucks is that the neighbors behind us had lights, and the houses on the other side of the street had lights! It's always our little grid that seems to lose their power when the slightest rain hits. So needless to say, I'm in a rather bitchy, tired mood today.

Our Senior Clerk called me a few minutes ago...I'm assuming she's working over at the hospital today instead of here in our office. We have large blue bags that we use to transport my work, and the mail from the hospital to our location, and vice versa. She called me to tell me that there would be several blue bags coming over, and I need to give what is inside to one of our temporary clerks. I told her they came over yesterday afternoon, but I sent them back to the hospital because they contained the progress note copies from the emergency room. She chuckled and said that they weren't supposed to come back over....I told her that I needed to be informed of these things, since I am usually the one who handles the blue bags! No one told me, so I sent them back. So she said they would be coming back over, and to give them to the Temp Clerk.

Jesus people....I'm not a f*cking mind reader!

And I'm getting sick and tired of listening to Mr. SnotHead's daily telephone conversations with his wife....in their native Thai language, whatever it is. Yesterday, I come back from lunch with a few minutes left, and he's on the damn phone (the company phone mind you) just rattling on, then his damned cell phone rings....he answers that, finishes that conversation....calls his wife back, and his cell phone rings AGAIN. He played this phone tag game about three times in the span of 5 minutes! I want to scream at him to take his damned phone OUTSIDE. I really don't care to hear his gibberish ruining my lunch!

Never hold the money that you are going to use to buy that Pepsi in the same hand that holds trash you throw away....the result? Your $5.00 goes into the trash dumpster along with the half-eaten Funnel Cake you are now full from, and throw away.

I took Rat Bitch to work with me today, in hopes of introducing to RB...but when I took her out back to the loading dock, he was nowhere to be found....then I heard that Brown truck coming up the parking lot, and he drove down the alley so fast....I wonder if he sensed a rat presence?? LOL When I left for lunch at noon, RB was over delivering a package to the T-Mobile store that shares our parking lot. I got in my car, and drove toward the street....noticing that RB was now behind me. I acted nonchalant, and kept driving toward the street....and he honked his horn behind me. So I have him a half-ass wave out of the window. Oh yes....someone needs to meet you, Rat Bastard. Next week, kiddies.

It's been rather warm here lately (80 degrees yesterday!), and the trees haven't really taken on their usual brilliant colors yet. But the trees in our parking lot are finally beginning to turn a nice red shade:

I took my camera along with me on my walk break the other day, and zoomed in on the trees by the Fairfield Inn a short distance from work:

But now that I think about it, the trees around here just start turning in November. Then in February the blossoms start popping out. So our 'winter' is relatively short in these parts.

So I went out to my lock box on the loading dock, and who is there? Rat Bastard in his brown truck. We exchanged greetings, and I asked him what he dressed up as for Halloween. He didn't, he said....he asked what I dressed up as....I told him I didn't, but that I used to dress up as a French Maid back in my McD's days. He almost dropped a parcel he was bringing out of the brown truck. He said, "REALLY!!! Damn, I'm sorry I missed that."
