Smirk Smirk!

This shows just how close my office is to the hotel:

And you know I just had to cruise through the hotel parking lot, just to make sure I was seeing what I thought I saw:

There was also a bright red semi parked in our parking lot at lunchtime...the one time I didn't have my camera out...it pulled out, and had 2 red SMIRK mudflaps! Damn it!

And there was a BEAUTIFUL rainbow on the way home...you try talking on the phone, driving and taking pictures at the same time! Can you say MULTI-TASKER? LOL

.....that there are Bon Jovi tour busses at a hotel across the field from our office! I believe that I see the red SMIRK on the back of two of the busses! HEHEHE!!!

Yes....it's almost time to 'Smirk'! Can't wait!

Half day to work Wednesday, but I'll be back at work on Thursday, dragging my sorry behind...I couldn't get that day off because two other people are already off...so I'll be running on about 2-3 hours of sleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Be patient in looking for my pics....I may not get them uploaded until Friday night or Saturday. I'll probably be crashing VERY early Thursday night. Maybe I'll see if I can tape a small pillow down onto my work desk, to catch my forehead should I nod off during the day Thursday....LOL!

Yep...2 more days! WOOHOO!!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. My weekend was quiet for a change. I had to run a couple of errands Saturday, and the blossoms on the almond trees are exploding!

The blossoms are starting to appear on our apricot tree in the backyard, too:

And that pretty little cat was on the neighbor's roof Sunday....I took a couple of small videos....ENJOY, Lex! ;-)

Finally, I have time to post some pictures from this week....just assorted pictures.

Puppy is doing fine...he is now 2 weeks and 2 days old, and is a fat little booger! He was sprawled out on his back this evening, so I took a couple of pics:

I think I gave Rat Bastard some unexpected excitement this morning. I went out to the loading dock to put something in the lock box, and he was out there doing a delivery. He was goofing around with the Materiel Services guys...they were laughing at him because it was 39 degrees at that particular moment, and the silly boy was wearing his brown shorts. HAIRY LEGS may I add....LOL!

The MS guys had their radio blasting, and a good song came on, so I started dancing to the tune....I turned around and Rat Bastard was somewhat dazed by what he was seeing. I said to him point blank, "Got a little excited, did ya?"

LOL...I'm such a brat!

We have a new arrival...a week old today:

This little guy was quite the surprise....we didn't even realize the momma was pregnant until about a week before she delivered this little guy. This was the only pup, so it's no surprise that we didn't realize Mindy was expecting. He's a fat little bugger! More pictures to come as he matures until we sell him.

I'll be so damned glad when this week is over....I've had to attend a training class from 8:30-12:30 each morning this week for a new computer program we are going live with next month. The training hasn't really helped me much, because I am in a session with front line receptionists...I don't do any registration, but I do need to know their end, since I am the reconciliation end of the whole process. But it sure has put a crimp into my play time, and work getting done this week! I'M STRESSED TO THE MAX!!! So please forgive the quietness on my end....I simply can't find time to get around to everyone's blog and MySpace this week!

This beautiful sunrise happened this morning - good thing there weren't any cars behind me when I took this, because I stopped right in the middle of the road...LOL:

And MORE almond blossoms have popped out since Saturday...oh, and our temperature today? Almost 70 degress...don't hate, D-ma and Lex. LOL!!!!

So, Joe Montana refused to take part in the pregame ceremony during Sunday's Super Bowl, when the MVP's from all past Super Bowls were introduced. Also absent was former Steelers' QB, Terry Bradshaw, Miami Dolphins' defensive back Jake Scott (MVP of SB VII) and Dallas Cowboys' defensive lineman the late Harvey Martin. Obviously Harvey couldn't make it. Jake Scott was vacationing in Australia. Terry and Joe's excuse? MONEY. They weren't guaranteed enough to appear. Give me a fricking break. I'll bet Joe is still pissed at Steve Young, so THAT is why he didn't appear. GET OVER IT, JOE. You had your time in the spotlight....it was Steve's turn, you jackass.
