The hydrangias in the front yard have been starting to bloom since late last week, so I thought I'd capture a few pics of them....there are still more starting to bloom, so probably in another week or so I'll have even more to show:
Kathy, Heather and I met for lunch Sunday at the Cheesecake Factory, then headed into the mall for a little shopping...but first, Heather had some fun chasing the water squirting up from the ground fountains in the plaza of the mall...LOL!
Got the Best Buy and Target copies today...tomorrow, Kathy and I will meet at Wally World to get that copy...WOOHOO!! I put the Best Buy disc in my car, and Rock On sounds freakin' AWESOME cranked up!
How much sense does this make to everyone reading here?
We are in the second phase of roll-out/'go live' for a new billing/registration system here at work. The front line receptionists, and the Business Office where I am went live back in early March. We had 'technical support' staff on-site during the first week of roll out, and while they were knowledgable....there were still questions that the trainers didn't know the answers to.
Ok...no biggie....we eventually found out the answers by either trial and error, or when the trainers came back down for another roll out training in April.
Well, the Emergency Room/Laboratory/Radiology/Outpatient Surgery all went live over the weekend, and this affects my job in the fact that the 'voids' (registrations where the patient either wasn't seen, or opted to leave) are TOTALLY different from the other voids I've had the past couple of months, because the voids for ER/Lab/Xray are not for scheduled appointments, but basically walk-in appointments. So I have no clue on how to void any registrations done for these departments.
To make a long story short, one of the 'trainers' stopped by this afternoon, and I asked the question on how to complete the void process. The 'trainer' was not a skilled trainer, but was more involved in the back end development of this new system and had no clue on what I was talking about at first. Once I explained the difference between the voids I had been doing since March, and the voids I am now encountering, she started to understand but still could not answer my questions and said she would find out the answer and get back to me tomorrow.
Maybe I'm just being a broom-riding witch, but WHY send someone down here who has no clue about HOW to train???!!!! Sheesh....
Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young are coming to the Save Mart Center, and floor seats are$201 plus Ticketbastard charges.....you've got to be f-ing kidding me! I wouldn't pay $10 to see them, let alone $200!
Some of these 'nostalgia' tours are getting out of hand for the casual music fan. But I don't have much room to talk, considering I paid $325 my Lep/Journey VIP package. I guess it's all in what you like.
I can see this summer is going to sound just like last summer....listening to a POS car being revved all frickin night long! The house 2 doors down to the south of us had a new family move in early last year. And everyone in the neighborhood wishes they would LEAVE all because of the guy's constant revving of his POS Mustang's engine at all hours of the night during the summer, and during the day.
This POS is about a 1970 Mustang, maybe a Mach 1 model.....it could be a classy looking vintage car if this doorknob hadn't made it look like a frickin' bumblebee....it's black, with a big yellow strip going down the middle of the car....and it's not even a good paint job!
All this guy does is revv his engine, then will leave it idling for at least a half hour, rev it some more, leave it idling....then FINALLY speed off for a few minutes then come back. This was going on until 11 pm last night....I want to shove a banana in the tail pipe or something!
Well hell...Def Leppard in Reno on September 3....AND WE'RE NOT GOING! I sure wish the tour schedule would have been announced all at once, so people could be more selective of the shows they wanted to attend....I certainly would have chosen this one over the Shoreline.
I haven't been to Reno since Christmas 1997...that's WAY too long ago! Damn it! Well, I'm now crossing my fingers that more shows are added into October, and hopefully Fresno will be on the list...Fresno has a large Journey fan base here for obvious reasons....and the Save Mart Center is just waiting to see these two bands grace its stage!
And I'm more than a little miffed that they are playing two places they will have already played earlier in the summer....The Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT and in Atlantic City. Uh, WHY???? There ARE other places who are begging for a show besides these two places! Why go back to these venues not more than 3 months apart???
I don't think I can say this loud enough in hopes that the scheduling gods will hear me:
COME TO FRESNO, OR EVEN TO THE CHUKCHANSI RESORT!!!! WE WANT YOU!!!!
Just catching up on a couple of pictures that I've taken recently....this first one needs no introduction....from a week ago....cocky little turd that he is...LOL:
