If there was ever such a thing as "Uterus Snatchers", I'd beg them to come take mine. Not because of anything medically wrong....I'm just SICK AND TIRED of Aunt Flo's visits! I don't anticipate my uterus ever being used for the purpose that it was intended for, so why do I still have to deal with this crap??!! It's a major annoyance, and I swear, if that wench shows up anywhere near August 26th, I think I'll just rip my uterus out myself!

My apologies to the male readers.... I just had to vent for a moment. LOL

Can someone PLEASE enlighten me on why so many go gah gah over Sav (for the non-Def Leppard fans who may be reading, 'Sav' is Rick Savage, bass player for Lep)??? People have been posting pictures of Sav on the Official Forum, and women are just drooling so much over the pictures of Sav. I DON'T GET IT....Sav does NOTHING for me personally. Yeah, he's cute, but I just don't see the appeal.

I guess those same people wouldn't understand my lust over JTE (Joe Elliott, lead singer for Lep). Joe is the one who mesmerized me when I saw their video for "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" oh so many years ago. 1980 I believe was the year. I knew that I loved the song, but had no clue what the band looked like. When I saw that video on the screen when I was out on the town one night in 1980 - at a bar called The Palace here in Fresno (which sadly is no longer in existance) - I had to pick my jaw up off the table when I saw Joe. That curly dark hair, and oh those eyes! That is when I fell in lust with Joseph Thomas Elliott.

I still find him oh so hot to this day. But Sav??? Nope, he just does nothing for me. What is it about him, anyway???!!

I can't stand this damned heat much longer! Records were broken this weekend, and right now as I type this, we are sitting at 112F at almost 4 pm. If we don't get some relief soon, I can't be held responsible for what I might do. ;-)

Pretty cool, eh?? I wish the temperatures could match the coolness, though. It's too effing hot!

Oh! I talked to Robin this morning...I surprised her when I answered my cell phone, since she knew I would be at work. LOL....but I was the only one in my office at the time, so I could talk. Sounded like she and Rachel were having a good time, and she said she would call and leave a message after she got done "smirking". LOL!

Man, I must have really been sleeping HARD last night, because I woke up at about 2:30, and my tongue was stuck to the roof of my mouth! LOL!! I would have been a great fly catcher during my sleep! Now the front part of the roof of my mouth is kind of sore. Don't ask if I snored, because I have no idea....but my mouth must have been open a mile wide for my tongue to get stuck!

Yeah....so it's my birthday today. No biggie. Birthdays don't take on the significance they once did. I worked on my birthday last year. It's just another day anymore. Besides...it's going to be TOO EFFING HOT here to get out and do anything this whole weekend. 108-110F is being projected. Have I mentioned just how much I HATE SUMMER??!!!

Boy, whoever does the welcome marquee at the Ramada Inn here in town needs to use spellcheck before putting the letters up....I saw this when I left Starbucks this morning...what it is really supposed to say is Welcome Table MOUNTAIN Rancheria, which is one of our local tribal casinos. I don't think I've heard of this casino before...it must be a very MANly casino...LOL!!!!:

And the thunderclouds were rising high into the sky over the Sierras on my way home from work...I wish some of those clouds would spill over into the Valley and cool us off! 107 today! HELP ME!!

Ahhhh yes....one of my favorite shows is back for another summer. Big Brother 7 All Stars debuted Thursday night! I can't wait to see what the All Star houseguests brew up this season. It looks like it will get ugly really fast! First houseguests up on the block are Danielle and Allison. Both underhanded, sneaky little witches!

I'm so glad the 4th is done with. People were shooting off those damned whistlers, and firecrackers until about 10:30 last night! Dumb asses.

I tried to get some pictures of the skating yesterday, but the lighting in the exhibit hall was so dim they all came out blurry. Sorry Susan!!! I'll try to upload a couple of videos that I did take later this evening. There was this one little girl doing figures who couldn't have been more than 5 years old, and she kept stopping, thinking she was finished....it was so cute to watch! One really cool thing happened though. I ran into an old friend there....he was the owner of the first roller rink I ever skated at way back in the 60's and 70's. I took lessons from his wife. They sold the rink in 1978, and they moved up to Carmichael, CA. He's still teaching, and he still looks the same, except for silver hair now. It was so good to talk to him again!

First off...I want to wish Karen a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!! I hope you had a wonderful day today, darlin'!

And I hope everyone here in the States has a good 4th of July holiday on Tuesday. Personally, I'll be glad as hell when the night is over, because the fireworks around here scare the dogs to death, so I'll have to sit outside on the patio with them to keep them calm...and knowing my idiot neighbors, they'll be shooting them off until all hours. I just love working the next day with virtually no sleep.

I'll head downtown tomorrow morning to watch some of the Southwest Pacific Regional Roller Skating championships, and re-live my time skating in Regionals.
