First off...THANK YOU EVERYONE for your words of encouragement and support. Lord knows I need all the strength I can get lately. Knowing I have friends out there like you guys means more than you know....HUGS to all of you!

I'll be SO GLAD when New Years Eve is over! Damned idjits around here shoot off firecrackers, those bombs, and even GUNS...dumbasses. Don't those dim lightbulbs know that what goes up must come down? Hopefully the bullet will come back down into THEIR head...that'll teach 'em.

I hit the Bath And Body Works annual sale yesterday on my lunch hour....spent $80 and saved $100. The shower gels were only $3, so I bought up a bunch of those, and the body sprays were $5....Wallflowers were $5 instead of $12.50 so I bought some refills. I LOVE THOSE GOOD SALES!!

So, it's Christmas Eve....we always open our packages on Christmas Eve. I got dad a gift certificate to Aaron Brothers so he can get what he needs for oil painting supplies, and I got a family gift of a new 14-cup coffee pot.

I got mom a couple of nightgowns, and a gift set of Channel No. 5. She kept trying to give the wrapped packages to me, because "she didn't get out to get me anything." I told her that I didn't care about anything.....they bought me the new printer I wanted, so that was plenty.

After awhile, she came to her bedroom to go to bed, and she said dad and I never told her that 'this was going to happen tonight', and that she could have gotten out of the way and come back to her bedroom. WTF???? IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE!!! WE ALWAYS DO THIS! She is of the mind set that because she didn't 'contribute' to the evening in the way of gifts, that she shouldn't have been included, and felt insulted. WTF???? I know it's the dementia doing the talking now!

She said she would get the money that it cost for me to buy her gifts and give it to me so I can go buy what I want. I DON'T WANT YOUR F*CKING MONEY!! I am giving gifts because I WANT TO...NOT BECAUSE I *EXPECT* ANYTHING IN RETURN!!!

She said she had been trying to figure out all day a way to get out of our way this evening so we could 'enjoy our evening.' WE ARE A F*CKING FAMILY!!!! THERE IS NO SEGREGATION! She thinks that she and dad 'separated months ago'. Uh, NOOOOOO!! She's never been away from us!

I dread to think what Christmas Day will bring. She'll probably get pissed off because dad got a ham, instead of a turkey.

Merry Christmas. Sheesh.

***EDIT*** Yep....this Christmas officially SUCKS. Her sarcastic mouth is running again this morning. And she says WE are sarcastic?? She's the QUEEN of sarcastic of late. She asked me if I'm ever 'ashamed of myself,' and 'do I really think that I've done good with my life?' Shit, nothing like being degraded on Christmas morning. Whoever it is that is that has taken up residence in her body, I wish they'd f*cking LEAVE, and bring my mother back. I now treasure those precious moments when my mom is 'mom'. It was nice all day yesterday because we were talking and she said she didn't know what she would do without me. Now today, I'm the world's worst daughter and bitch. It's a damn good thing I don't drink, because I'd be a raging alcoholic right now.

Here's a quick clip of a portion of Separate Ways by Journey. Anyone who can sit there and say they don't like JSS's energy is - well, a friggin' bump on a log! I LOVE THIS GUY, and I can't wait to see Journey again! After seeing clips of Journey fronted by Steve Augeri on YouTube, all I can say is *YAWN* - his voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me *shivers*. What in the hell do people see in his voice anyway??? The more I listen to Augeri's voice, the less he sounds like Steve Perry, and more like a donkey mating!

JSS brings such life and energy back to this band....almost like the Steve Perry days! YOU GO, JEFF!

Damn....how much more does one person have to endure??? Every night this past week, when I'd get home from work she accused me of getting into her clothes before leaving that morning. NOT!!! She gets into her closet and dresser and starts rummaging around looking for something to wear, only to pull EVERYTHING out of the dresser and accuse ME of putting her clothes on the bed every morning!

Same thing happened this morning....I did a Wal-Mart run early this morning, and came back to find her with all of her clothes on her bed AGAIN, and accused me of moving them before I left. She started calling me a bitch, a liar, a thief, etc. I should be used to it by now, but DAMN! No matter how many times I tell her that I'm not touching her things, she goes into this rage and says that I am a liar.

She stayed in her bedroom the whole day with the door closed, pulling shit out of everywhere. Maybe if she'd stop moving her crap around, she'd find it!

I'm SO GLAD tomorrow is Monday.......

While browsing one of the Journey threads on the Melodic Rock message forum, I came across an avatar that someone has that is a picture of JSS that *I* took at the Fresno show...this picture:

I think this is someone that I met briefly at the 5* party, and he stood beside us with his son during Journey's set, and part of Lep's set. But he never ASKED me if he could use my photo for his avatar. He helped himself to the larger photo that I have in my Journey album on Photobucket because the tag is not on the picture. But I guess I should feel flattered that someone felt that my photo was avatar-worthy? I got just a wee bit pissed though when I saw my picture staring back at me....

Yep...I took some more test pictures with the new camera today - I don't know what kind of birds these are...I'm assuming pigeons? They are ALWAYS in our parking lot and on the light poles:

This picture was taken from about a football field length away....across the street from our office. This is the Golden Horse that symbolized the Cutting's Golden Horse Western Wear store that once occupied the store space where this statue stands....damn this horse is a stud!
