Well, there's certainly alot of grumbling about ticket prices for the upcoming Journey/Def Leppard summer tour. Many fans are complaining about the higher than usual ticket prices ($78), and many are complaining about the high prices of the 4 and 5 Star VIP Packages being offered for this tour.

I realize there are many people who have families to support and that this most certainly would be a strain on their budget to catch more than one show this tour. But people....I'm afraid that the days of 'cheap' tickets are going by the wayside, especially for 'name' acts. Tickets for the Lenny Kravitz/Aerosmith concert here in Feb. were over $120. I would have gone, except for the fact that I *HATE* Lenny Kravitz, and that the Bon Jovi concert was two weeks later.

I personally will be going for one of the 5-Star VIP packages for the Journey/Lep show at the Shoreline Amphitheater in late August. Stupid? Maybe....but I want to experience the "VIP" package for once in my life....I have the funds, and it's not hurting my pocketbook to splurge this one time. Hell, I would put that much and maybe more through a slot machine in Vegas....and I stand a good chance of coming away with nothing but dirty hands for that amount...so why not spend it on something I will ENJOY and remember fondly? We've NEVER been that close to the boys before until last summer at Grizzlies Stadium. We haven't travelled all over to multiple shows like many have....so please don't chastise me for wanting to experience something special for this one time. After all of the crap I've had to put up with this year, I DESERVE THIS, dammit!

Well, it's back to the 'usual' pictures here....LOL! The summer tour dates for Def Leppard have been posted, and I'm hoping that we'll catch one of the California dates! I really want to go to the Sacramento show, but the show is on a Sunday night, and there are already two people out of the office the next day, damn it. So the Shoreline show looks to be the best choice, since it's on a Saturday night. Only 2-2.5 hours from home, so that would be do-able!

Now for those pictures....from the storm that blew in yesterday afternoon...it looked nasty on the way home, but it didn't really affect us here:

.....just wanted to throw a box of Kleenex at someone?? I DO! There's this chick that is occupying a desk in my cubicle area who is an outside coding auditor. She's annoying, and rude. Why do I want to throw a box of tissues at her?? SO SHE WILL GET A FRICKING CLUE AND BLOW HER NOSE!!! I get tired of listening to her sniffle all day. I suppose I should be thankful that she isn't rooting for truffles like Mr. Snothead did....but the sniffling is just as annoying!

Ah well....it's almost Friday!

Man oh man....we had an awesome storm roll through yesterday afternoon/evening. We were greeted with this sunrise Friday morning:

The clouds were SO black just to the north of us at about 5:30 pm. I grabbed my camera of course, and took some vids and pictures. I just about fell off my chair when I discovered this picture:

This will be the last round of my Jovi pics, because the rest just aren't up to par, in my opinion. But first....RB has a new friend, courtesy of Robin. She sent a little 'thank you' gift for getting some things for her at my Bon Jovi show, and once I saw the name on the Beanie tag...I KNEW this was going to work with me to give RB some grief...LOL!
