Damn that was awesome! I have a ton of pictures to sort through, and I can't write much now because I'm home helping take care of mom...she fell yesterday before I left, and hurt her hip. Nobody really slept last night because she was still in alot of pain....she seems a bit more mobile this morning, so I don't think her artificial hip is out of place...she probably pulled muscles around the hip.

But both Journey and Lep were awesome. A bit of a mixup on our seat location due to being misdirected by Event Staff - we were told we were at the end of one section, so for half of the Journey set we were down at the end of the front row. Later we were told no, your seats are seats down there....FRONT ROW CENTER almost...we were in between Joe and Sav's mics. I have some VERY good eye candy to post soon...but for now, here's a video of the end of ROCK ON:

WOOHOO!!!! This is it!!! Today is the day! We've waited for this day for what seems FOREVER! 4 hours of work to get through, then home to get a few things done before Kathy comes to pick me up at 3 or so....then off to the Doghouse Grill for a bit, then off to the show!

I'll take lots of pictures and try to have them posted somewhere by the weekend!

Yes, we had another football game to attend last night...another loss. *sigh* But we can't complain because it was FREE! Some guy walked up behind us just as we were getting ready to buy standing room only tix for $20 and said he had two extra tickets....we and another lady said how much...but I said it first so he gave us the tickets, but said we had to walk in with him because he didn't want us to sell them. NO PROBLEM, DUDE! And Kathy had just said not 5 minutes before that she wanted someone to give us tickets....LOL!

I just about had a stroke right before halftime....all during the second quarter, some idiot a few rows behind us thought it would be funny to blow on one of those damned long horn noisemakers...I know you've all seen them; they are about 2 feet long, and incredibly ANNOYING. I kept saying that I wanted to take that thing and shove it up his arse sideways, because he was irritating us and the people around us. When we came back from our halftime walk, we saw that he was gone. The guy who gave us the tickets said he was thrown out of the game. The guy down in front of us said, "We thought maybe you took him upstairs and took care of him....LOL!"

When did McDonald's start having karaoke??? We stopped at the McD's not far from my house, and they now have a karaoke machine in the back part of the seating area! McD's has sure changed since Kathy and I worked there!

I thought I'd show just how close I am to the Save Mart Center - now you see why we chose to stay home for the Journey/Def Leppard show instead of driving up to the Mountain View show....2 minutes as opposed to 3 hours driving? You do the math!:
